The Board of Aruba Beach Club has decided, in light of ABCMembers.net Legal battle to Stop this bulk sale, to withdraw from the recent ballot attempt of member approval of this bulk sale before their required court date February 7, 2008. This was good news to us! However, by written and verbal statements they intend to re-send this out to the membership under basically the same terms as the first one. They have stated in person and by print that they counted the votes and that the YES vote won----however this cannot be verified ----the board counted ballots without any verification or certification by any independent accounting firms --neither was counting witnessed by any other member of our club other than the Board members.
It is imperative that all members vote NO on any bulk sale of weeks on any future ballot. We just cannot risk the future enjoyment of our slice of Paradise.
