This site has been designed and operated to form and unite a group of owners which now consists of over 1,000 members. It spans all 52 weeks in the timeshare calendar and continues to grow daily. The web site was originally developed to serve as the primary means of owner communication to stop the bulk sale of club-owned rooms of our beautiful home away from home, the Aruba Beach Club. This group of Aruba Beach Club Members is now focused on maintaining a "free press" means of contact and communication between all members and to help bring about more transparency and member oversight of our elected Board. In the words of former USA President Ronald Reagan, "We need to trust, but verify".
During the recent struggle to stop the proposed sale, many owners requested that the new site be expanded for purposes other than the movement to stop the sale. Now that the group’s hard work, collective brain power, and monetary donations have resulted in the cancellation of the bulk sale to Joseph Flak (it also resulted in the recent sale of club-owned rooms to owners at the bulk-rate price-- 50% off), the original purpose of the web site has now been realized.
The most recent effort of our collective group was centered toward defeating the Board proposed amendment to Article 25. Agenda Point 4 on the ballot for the Convocation on April 15 (April 29 adjourned date) seeked to eliminate the ability of members to know the names and postal mailing addresses of fellow owners. It is imperative that the present communications ability between owners be maintained.
(UPDATE----Agenda Point 4 was DEFEATED due to not receiving a 2/3 vote in the affirmative required by the Articles. The Board has refused to acknowledge such defeat and has even claimed in the club newletter and website that the issue passed.

We intend to expand the “Forum” page to include message boards for such subjects as rentals, exchanges, and ABC Resort on-site reports throughout the year in addition to the general communication abilities presently offered. To this end, www.abcmembers.net is being reconstructed to further serve the future communication needs of ABC owners. The NEW FORUM has many new features not available in the original. It is our hope that this site will serve the owners in positive ways that have not been available in the past.
Those responsible for creating and operation of this site are just like you, fun loving owners of the Aruba Beach Club, who want to enjoy the club and preserve and protect our investment. We can never again permit others to divide and/or manipulate the owners of Aruba Beach Club --especially with the ability of high-speed communication in today’s world.

By doing so, you will be connected with your fellow club owners without fear of your contact information being inappropriately used. Several have reported an added benefit that participation in this web site has resulted in the cementing of long-time friendships and the establishment of many new friendships.
Our goal is to have the participation of all Aruba Beach Club owners.
