Our group has been working on various issues thoughout the past year but our main focus has been development of accurate contact information for the owners.
As volunteers we have been busy balancing personal life requirements with our efforts for our beloved ABC.
Now that we have made contact with a substantial segment of our owners and we are now in a position to meet the number of member requirements of our Articles. It is unfortunate that we have been unable to move faster in the opinion of some but we believe that order and organization is critcal to success.
Changes, that many have suggested, must be presented to the membership in an orderly fashion and according to the procedures outlined in our Articles and By-Laws. The first step beyond last years legal issues has been the continued development of a reliable and accurate communication system between the owners.
Patience is required along with more volunteers to continue to develop and maintain this contact information.
The most pressing issue is that the Board has placed again an Article change on this upcoming Convocation ballot to prohibit owners from having owner contact information. In an upcoming email and webpage we will document the history of this attempt over the last year. Please vote AGAINST agenda point 4. It was defeated last year, let us defeat it again this year.
Our group urges all to vote against any Article changes now and in the future that would limit our ability to know and be in contact with fellow owners.

The abcmembers.net group has gone to great lengths to maintain the integrity of this site and our group. While there are some different groups who have formed besides ourselves and as such they have made efforts toward some common goals we remain independent and committed to our original purpose. Our methods and approach to bringing about the renewed involvement of the owners has strived continually to be ethical and within the framework of our Articles. Any constructive efforts from any group with the best interests of the Aruba Beach Club is in the heart and spirit to which this website and group was created.
In the coming weeks this website will be updated to reflect the current issues before the membership. Old webpages and information will remain but placed in an archived section for reference purposes.
